Summary: Post-Reichenbach. A damaged Sherlock returns from taking down Moriarty's network, but everything has changed for John in the meantime. When Sherlock takes up a case involving Mary Morstan's father, will it bring John and Sherlock together or rip them apart for good? And will it matter if Sherlock's demons pull him under first?
Chapter Summary: Sherlock goes to confront Mycroft. Mycroft is concerned about the things Sherlock's been up to.
NOTE: I considered writing this chapter as a stand-alone, and it could still be read that way if you maybe aren't interested in the whole fic but would like to read an angsty post-Reichenbach one-shot with the Holmes brothers.
